Kempen Design has been operating since 2019, working with agencies, non-profits, SaaS teams, and film productions across Canada and beyond. I’ll be sad to lose the network and digital record of my years of freelance work if my LinkedIn account isn’t reinstated, but I can easily provide proof and reassurance of my business entity if needed to establish trust.
My wife, Corinne Kempen, leads design operations and content strategy for Kempen Design and her LinkedIn page is still alive and well.
I have several design and GFX projects on the go right now and continue to work with agency partners and clients on their brand, illustration, web, and animation projects. I’ve been active on platforms like Intch and Alignable and frequently post design and illustration work on my Instagram account.
My account was accessed by an unknown third party who made numerous questionable job postings under my name, leading to my account being flagged and restricted. While I was completing steps to verify my identity and strengthen my account security, their team mistakenly registered the original flag as a second offense, making it much more difficult to appeal. I’m in regular contact with LinkedIn’s support team and hope to provide the verification they need to reinstate my account this year.
